We work mostly with certified translators who are enrolled in the official Dutch Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators (RBTV). A number of our in-house staff are also RBTV translators; since January one of our in-house workers has been certified as a Turkish-Dutch translator.
NEN-EN 15038: an important quality guarantee
Another important independent certification is the NEN-EN 15038 standard. We have met this standard since 2008 and were the first general translation agency in the Netherlands to do so. This standard sets strict, objective requirements for translation agencies and AVB Translations was closely involved in its development. This was because we have already been applying the essential criteria of the NEN standard for almost four decades, and so we know better than anyone how a translation agency should go about providing high-quality translation services.
